I began my apprenticeship in Ireland, learning the trade from a team of highly skilled plasterers who set a strong foundation for everything I’ve done since. From day one, I was taught that the real mark of a professional is in the details — the consistency of a finish, the cleanliness of a site, the reliability to show up and deliver exactly what was promised. That early experience shaped how I approach every project to this day.

After moving to Glasgow, I started my own plastering business and quickly built a reputation for dependable, high-standard work. Over the years, I had the opportunity to lead a wide range of projects, including exterior rendering across key areas of the city. Some highlights include plastering work for Gordon Ramsay’s Michelin-starred restaurant at Ibrox Stadium, work across various departments at Glasgow University, and a year-long refurbishment project at Ross Hall Hospital involving 90 bedrooms and bathrooms. These projects weren’t just about size or prestige — they were about working to exacting standards and delivering results clients could trust.

Since returning home to Ireland, I’ve continued to build Apollo Plastering with that same mindset. We’ve worked on a wide range of jobs, from private home extensions and bespoke renovations to full-scale, multi-unit housing developments. I also regularly collaborate with building contractors and developers, ensuring smooth coordination on site and consistently high-quality results.
